This was our shedrow barn after it was hit by a Microburst during the 2014 Monsoon season. It was lifted off the ground and launched atop a seven foot block wall. Our landscaping, trees, and shrubs were all uprooted, fences and gates were completely destroyed. Fortunately the house had only minor damage. The clean up took 2 months, and the price tag exceeded a whopping $35,000.
Thank goodness, just two months before the storm, we sold all our horses. The barn was only occupied by a flock of hens who were merely startled by the sound of wind and twisting metal, none were injured.
