The Cowboy

Horse country in rural Rio Verde, Arizona is where this cowboy and my good friend makes a living as a horse trainer and farrier. His many saddles from way back when are quite the sight to see, each with purpose, stories to tell, and all incredibly rich with history. Cattle drives, ranching, rodeo, competitions, and training in many parts of the West.

I’ve always admired those who find their God given place in life and actually live it. Often we are discouraged from following our heart.  I must admit, I’d have 27 reasons for argument if my kid said “I’m going to be a cowboy instead of going to college!”  There’s a lesson to be learned here, we all have a calling, what ever that is, don’t sell yourself short, it might just be who you really are.
