Nature Speaks
There’s a bite in the wind an’ the rain brings a chill,
Nature weeps an’ birds take cover where it’s warm an’ still.
Angry skies boast a statement not to be ignored,
An’ critters settle where their vittles are secretly stored.
Dark clouds build integrity until tomorrow’s light,
Then nature’s warrior rises erasing them from sight.
Through the mist, fragrant grasses boldly glisten,
An’ the pines are whistlin’ their song to all who’ll listen.
