As a Jadite collector, a great find is always such a thrill. Especially in Arizona, where it is almost non-existent. I find a few pieces here and there, but for the most part I have to buy online.
This past weekend, husband and I went to Prescott, Arizona and visited the many antique stores on Cortez St. We have our favorite shops, but this time we ventured off the beaten path, stopped in a little kinda dumpy antique store and stumbled across a 48 oz. Jadite McKee sugar canister made between 1931 & 1938. It’s the largest of the Mckee round canisters and valued between $125 -$150 depending on condition. We picked it up for $50. What a grand day!
