Antique Gatherings, a Review

Two Words: Sticker Shock

The previous location at 3601 E. Indian School Road Phoenix was filled with treasures, something for everyone at every turn in the maze-like store of cozy nooks and crannies. Well, not anymore; the current location at 10615 N. 32ND ST is now a sterile, high-end, meticulously organized, expensive, and highly overpriced antique store.

Rows of shiny locked glass cases filled with vintage items that aren’t necessarily difficult to find from other sources, however nicely displayed and in pristine vintage condition. In other words, I didn’t see much that couldn’t be found on eBay or Mercari at a MUCH better price.

Jewelry was plentiful, but if you’re looking for a nice piece at an affordable price, you won’t find it here.

It was a friendly environment; cookies and treats were served on their grand opening day. Nevertheless, as a collector and seller of vintage glassware, it’s unlikely I’ll ever revisit this place.
